== RAF El Adem ==

From <> to <> I was based at RAF El Adem. We would regularly go east along the coast to "Bardia" as we spelled it then, The beach was one of the best in the area. Up on the cliffs was the old town of Bardia and overlooking the bay was an old building that housed the mural pictured below.

I wrote a letter to the Daily Mirror Old Codgers page, which they published. John Brill's mother was shown the letter in the Old Codgers page and on the 31/1/1966 she wrote to me through the Daily Mirror.
